Last month my friend Erin and I launched our new business, The Crafty Foxes. We have taken our love of making things and turned it into something we are both very proud of. We make a variety of things for babies such as crocheted hats, booties and mittens, as well as things out of felt and fabric. Check us out on Facebook!

A beautiful idea for jewellery - thrifty, easy to make, you could give them as gifts or even party favours.
These fabric rosettes are to die for, and so easy to make. I might do a couple to put on headbands and broaches for my new baby girl.
…space boy, i miss you…
When I was a little girl, my mother put the cut off tops of carrots into water in the upturned lid of a jar on the window sill. After about 5 days they would start sprouting, and eventually I had beautiful little “trees” growing on my window sill. I used to think it was magic, and I can’t wait to do this for my own babies.
I just found the Ikea Hacker website, and it is amazing. It’s full of ideas for repurposing old and new Ikea furniture. Check out this desk and work table for a craft room made from kitchen cabinets - love it!

I love making my own books, but haven’t done it in a while cause it is so time consuming. Here is a link to an easy bookmaking tutorial, I’ve never done a glued spine so can’t wait to try!
These rabbit plushies are the cutest, I might try my hand at making one after the baby is born. They perfect to make for gifts as well, especially if you don’t know the sex of the baby, as nice neutral gifts are few and far between.
